The Knitting Circle On The Circle Line

If ever there’s a time to be jealous of an event, it’s now. Consider us the ultimate, über organisers for one of the better awareness campaigns around London in just minutes. I am talking about non other than the first ever ‘Knitting Circle’ on The Circle Line!

My associate, Shelton, bravely threw his hat into the ring and came up with this glorious idea a few weeks ago. I must applaud him, our busy fingers and minds have not stopped planning this momentous event! It is exactly as it suggests, knitters on a train to help a good cause!

The Circle Line

We are gathering the troops the morning of Wednesday the 16th of March at the Notting Hill Gate Station. We intend to group up, board the train, and then pull out our needlework projects all as a group to raise awareness for Breast Cancer survivors and The Pink Pom Pom Project.

All are welcome! We’ll be wearing matching T-Shirts, handing out informational leaflets on The Pink Pom Pom Project, providing projects for late comers and newbies, and for anyone who may consider themselves ‘needle challenged’.

Stay tuned, mark your calendars and watch this space, we will write more next week as we fine tune all of the details!

In the meantime, contact Alex at alex@stayabreast.co.uk for additional information and how to get involved!

Thank you for your support!
